  • When will I receive my media?
For photos, aerial photos, 2D floor plans, 3D virtual tours, and Social Media House Reels, you will receive your media back in 24 hours. Cinematic Videos and Virtually Staged photos have a 48-hour turnaround time.
  • What should I do to get the property ready?
When you secure a photoshoot, you will receive a prep sheet on how the seller should prepare their property for the photoshoot. It will also have instructions on what to do on the day of the photoshoot. The property's readiness directly impacts how great the media comes out! The house should be decluttered, staged, and photo ready before the photographer arrives. The rule of thumb: less is more. If there is a question if something should be removed, just remove it. The more the house is decluttered and depersonalized, the better the photos will turn out.
  • My client said their house would be clean and ready for the photoshoot today and it's not! What can I do?
    - If the photographer arrives at the property and it is not ready for photos, but final preparations can be completed by you and/or the seller within 15 minutes of the appointment start time, the photographer will work around you to complete the appointment as best as possible. - If the preparation will take more than 15 minutes, we will ask you if you would like the photographer to shoot the property as is or if we should reschedule the photoshoot. A rescheduling fee for half of the order total will be applied.
  • Can the photographer stage my home during the photoshoot?
Ideally, when the photographer arrives on-site, the house is in the best condition for photographs. The photographer can help move some items if needed, however, they are not responsible for cleaning or preparing the house. Any house prep done by the photographer should not exceed 15 minutes.
  • Will you photoshop that out for me?
Photoshop is a magical program and a lot can be done, however, if there is something you or the homeowner would like out of the photo, it's always best to have it removed before the photos are taken. Special photoshop requests will result in an extra charge.
  • Can you put fire in the fireplaces?
YES! We always put a fire in all indoor working fireplaces (unless we are told not to), and we also put pictures of Lake Tahoe in the TV screens at no additional charge.
  • My cleaners/handyman/stagers will be done in the morning and I would like to schedule the photoshoot for the same day.
In this situation, ideally, the photoshoot should be scheduled for the following day. From our experience, frequently cleaners, handymen, stagers, etc., need additional time to make the final touches. However, we understand that listing timelines are tight, so if the photoshoot needs to be scheduled for the afternoon we can. If any delays result in the photoshoot not starting within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment, an additional charge will be applied.
  • Oh no! I have to cancel/reschedule my photoshoot that is scheduled today. Is that a problem?
It's not a problem to reschedule your photoshoot, however for any same day cancellation or rescheduling there will be a fee of half of the invoice total. We will reschedule your photoshoot as our schedule allows for it.
  • How do I pay?
Once your media is delivered, you will pay directly online. Once the payment is processed, you will be able to download your media.
  • Can I give the media to the stager/buyer/another agent (i.e. a 3rd party)?
It's a common misunderstanding that the agent owns the photos and can distribute them as they want. However, under copyright law, In1View Media retains all ownership rights to all media. Therefore, unless explicitly stated in writing by In1View Media, transferring or sharing any media with any third party (i.e., stagers, buyers, builders, real estate agents, etc.) is prohibited. If the 3rd party would like to use the media, an additional license will need to be purchased through In1View Media.
  • What can I do with the pictures?
You can use the media for marketing purpose for the duration of the listing (i.e. MLS use, social media posting, flyers, etc.). Once the listing ends, the media license expires and the media can't be transferred. In1View Media retains all copyright to all photos.
  • Do you take photos of Airbnb/VRBO/short-term/long-term rentals?
Of course we do! You will have a non-transferable license to use the photos in perpetuity. You can use the photos to advertise the rental online.
  • What happens if the forecast is showing rain/snow/smoke on the day of my photoshoot?
When getting photographs done for a property there are different things to consider: the listing timeline, the weather, and getting the property ready. We can photograph in rain or snow, however, it is the responsibility of the agent or person requesting the photoshoot to make that judgment call based on their specific needs. If the forecast shows inclement weather during your photoshoot, it is the agent's or person requesting the photoshoot's responsibility to reschedule in advance. While we check the weather and smoke forecast and schedule to the best of our ability, we can not predict the weather anymore than what the forecast shows. Ultimately it is up to the agent or person requesting the photoshoot to make the decision If you have any aerial services scheduled, drones can't fly in the rain or snow, so that portion of the service will need to be rescheduled or removed from the order.
  • Do you work on the holidays?
Our company observes most federal holidays. If you are looking for a photoshoot on a holiday, please email our office to see if we are able to accommodate the request.
  • I just heard from my sellers/cleaners/handyman/contractor and they won't be ready for photos in time. What should I do?
The photoshoot can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment. A cancellation fee will be applied if the photoshoot is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. The cancellation fee is half of the order amount.
  • The homeowner was supposed to be at the photoshoot and isn't there! What happens now?
If the person who was supposed to provide access to the home (usually the agent or seller) does not show up, we will do the following: - Our office or photographer will contact the agent to confirm the appointment time, location, and access details. - If the agent or homeowner cannot be at the property within 15 minutes of the appointment start time, the appointment will be canceled, and the agent will need to reschedule. - There will be a cancellation fee of half of the order amount.
